The MISSOC database, established by the European Commission in 1990, collects information on the social protection systems of the 27 EU Member States, the three EEA states (Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway) and the United Kingdom, and provides continuous up-dates. One sub-area covers the social protection of the self-employed. The database has become a valuable tool for public authorities and citizens alike. Tables that can be compared by using filters provide information on the social legislation of each of the countries represented. We have contributed translations and editing to the project since 2017.
