Translation of the Methodological Report for the IAB-BiB-BAMF-SOEP Survey “Refugees from Ukraine in Germany”

Russia’s attack on Ukraine triggered one of the largest refugee movements in Europe since the Second World War. Many Ukrainians also came to Germany as a result. To learn more about their living conditions, the Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB), the Institute for Employment Research (IAB), the Research Centre of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF-FZ), and the German Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) jointly conducted a longitudinal survey, with infas Institute for Applied Social Sciences commissioned to carry out the fieldwork. We translated the methodological report underlying these surveys.
